If there is a problem you would like to discuss with Trading Standards, you should initially contact the council where you live even if the trader is not based there. If you live outside the UK, you should contact the council in the trader’s area.

Under some circumstances it may be necessary for us to refer complaints to Trading Standards Services in other areas, or to pass details to other enforcement agencies.
