ESF Background

As a Co-financing Organisation (CFO), the Council first consulted on local needs and on proposals for the use of ESF in 2003/2004, before preparing its initial Co-financing Plan (March 2003).

An updated Co-financing Plan covers the remaining years, up to the end of the programme (2007).

This timescale corresponds with that followed by the other CFO's in Wiltshire and Swindon - Jobcentre Plus, Learning and Skills Council and Wiltshire County Council - who also updated their Plans in 2004.  Local consultations were held in Swindon in autumn 2003.  Further public meetings for all Wiltshire and Swindon were held by the CFO's jointly in spring 2004.

All the plans (together with the specifications for the rounds of tendering, as they appear) can be found on Wiltshire CFO's, follow the link in related pages to the right..
