A Partnership with Real Community Benefits
Swindon Borough Council, in partnership with Westlea Housing Association, has embarked on a fantastic project to transform the Braydon Court area of Penhill.
The plan will see new homes and shops built together with a number of environmental improvements.
There will be a mix of two, three and four bedroomed houses, which will include seven shared ownership properties. The shared ownership properties, known as 'Homebuy', provide local families with the opporunity to buy affordable, newly constructed homes in Penhill. The properties will be sold on a part-buy basis with the option of owning the whole property.
The Plan
Westlea Housing Association submitted planning application in early October 2007 and permission was granted on 11 December 2007'.
