Lydiard at War Exhibition
From 24 March 2018.
Our 2018 exhibition tells the story of the impact of the First World War on the St John family and the wider estate – the people that fought and the people who stayed behind.

New Diana Beauclerk artwork on display

From 24 March 2018.

Visitors to Lydiard House will see a new piece of artwork on public display for the first time in the Diana Room.

The new artwork is a pencil drawing of a lady and children in a wood, by Diana Beauclerk (née Lady Diana Spencer; other married name Diana St John, Viscountess Bolingbroke), pictured on the right. The drawing is dated 1777 and is reminiscent of Diana's drawing of her two daughters by Topham Beauclerk, also on display in the Diana room.

This piece is on loan from a private collector.

Entry to exhibitions on display at Lydiard House are included in the standard admission price, and entry is free to Season Ticket holders.
