Housing

Council Tenants

Each area or estate has one or two staff responsible for estate management issues. These staff are called Neighbourhood Housing Officers and you will need to contact them about the following enquiries:

How to Contact Your Neighbourhood Housing Officer

By Telephone

Telephone lines open at 8.30am and close at 5.00pm (4.30pm on Fridays). If he or she is not in the office when you call, then someone will answer and either take a message or help with your enquiry.

See: Neighbourhood Housing Officer's Telephone Numbers

Appointments

Staff will visit your home or you can call into the office. To do this you will need to make an appointment over the telephone. If you want to come into the office but are unable to arrange an appointment, you are welcome to do so. However, you should be prepared to see a person who is on duty that day, and he or she may not be your housing assistant. The offices are open Monday to Friday 9.00am-4.30pm.

By Letter
