Application Form

All applications must be made using our application form.

You may either download the form from this website (as a pdf document), print it, complete it and then post it to us. Alternatively, you can telephone Jobs@Swindon on 01793 463646 to request that we send you the form and application pack in the post. (The information in the application pack is available on the various pages within this section of this website.)

Completing Your Application Form

Before deciding to apply, first read the Job Description and Person Specification.

The Job Description tells you more about the job and what you would be doing if you were appointed. This helps you decide whether you are still interested.

The Person Specification tells you what skills, experience and knowledge you will need to be appointed to the job.

If you feel you are suitable for the job, please read the Guidance Notes and complete the application form as fully and accurately as possible. To assist you in completing your application form, please view the example of a completed Application Form.

Returning Your Completed Application Form

If you are completing the paper application form you can return it to us either by post or in person. (You may find it useful to keep a copy of your application form as you may wish to refer to it if you are invited for interview.)
