Masters 50+ Programme

Masters is a range of activities aimed specifically at the mature adult and those who require sessions tailored to meet their specific needs.

The Masters initiative is a way of helping people to carry on with the physical activity they choose for as long as possible.

The table below shows all of the classes and courses that are available throughout Swindon Borough Council, not just in our Leisure Centres, but also as part of the Sports Development Outreach programme.

Class Intensity

level 1Level 1 - a low impact class suitable for beginners and those returning to exercise. Includes functional body conditioning exercises at a low to moderate intensity.

level 2Level 2 - a low to high impact class aimed at an intermediate level. May include some flexibility and toning exercises for an all round workout.

Class Complexity

A GradeGrade A - an easy class to follow offering low levels of complexity, ideal for beginners.
