There are 260 acres of parkland to explore at Lydiard Park. Wide, accessible paths criss-cross the site around the lakes, lawns, woodlands and pasture – ideal for walking, jogging or cycling. The lovely lawns provide an ideal spot for picnicking and there are benches around to relax and unwind in this beautiful setting. Alternatively, with sports fields and the large play area, you can also enjoy some active fun here!
The park provides different wildlife habitats, including the historic woodlands and the lakes and stream, and is home to a variety of birds, mammals, amphibians and invertebrates.
