Directions
From Oxford: follow A419 to M4 exit J16 and follow the brown signs to Lydiard Park
From Swindon Centre: follow signs to West Swindon and then brown signs to Lydiard Park
From Cirencester / M5, turn off the A419 at the Turnpike Junction. Following the signs to North Swindon drive down Thamesdown Avenue, then follow signs to West Swindon (B4534) down Mead Way, turn right onto Whitehill Way and follow signs to Lydiard Park.
Buses: frequently from Fleming Way, 5 minutes walk from Swindon Railway Station, Thamesdown Transport No1

Opening Times & Admission
The Park
The grounds of Lydiard Park are open every day (except Christmas day) until dusk. Car parking and entry to grounds is free.
Lydiard House & Walled Garden
Open Tuesdays to Sundays 11am to 5pm
Special Closure Notice - 15-18 July
Lydiard House will be closed on Wednesday 15, Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July for essential maintenance works; and Saturday 18 July for the Friends of Lydiard Park Annual General Meeting.
Entry tickets to the House and Walled Garden are purchased from the ticket desk in the new porch entrance of Lydiard House.

Accessibility
There is wheelchair access to the House, Church and Visitor Centre. A drop off point and parking is available in the courtyard of Lydiard House for disabled visitors. This is reached via the Lydiard Park driveway off Hay Lane / Tregoze Way, signposted Lydiard Park Conference Centre and St Mary’s Church.
An accessible toilet is situated at the Visitor Centre – from the House this is reached by a 250 metre semi-serviced drive, which is not accessible by vehicle. Please bring your RADAR key.
Personal tours for blind or partially sighted visitors by museum staff can be arranged by prior agreement and guide dogs are welcome in the house. Story box audio guides are available in the Library, Dining Room, Drawing Room, State Bedroom and Lady Diana Spencer room.
