It Starts With You!

What can we do to reduce the number of road casualties?
The bad news is: we can all be the cause.
The good news is: we can also be the solution.
We must:
- Wake up to the devastating extent of death and injury on our roads
- Accept that all of us should help make the roads safer by improving what we do – even a little bit
- Teach families, our friends and ourselves the skills and attitudes to enable us to take care whenever we use the roads
- Make a commitment to always think about safety first before we drive
Swindon Borough Council have a statutory responsibility to provide road safety education, training and publicity for all age groups and category of road user, if you cannot find a solution to your road safety problem on our site please contact us on 01793 466399 or e-mail Margaret Tester at mtester@swindon.gov.uk.
