

The objective of this course is that candidates should have the knowledge and practical skills to make an assessment of an emergency, call for appropriate assistance and be able to administer basic first until the arrival of more qualified help.
The Emergency First Aid Course consists of:
- Incident management
- First Aid Kits
- Incident reporting
- Casualty Assessment
- Care of an unconscious casualty
- Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Choking
- Control of Bleeding
- Recognition and treatment of shock
- Video overview of common mediacl emergencies
- Questions (covering work specific issues)
Candidates must demonstrate practical resuscitation skills.

Revalidation
This four hour course needs to be retaken every three years.

The cost of this 1/2 day Appointed Persons Emergency First Aid course is £43.00 per person excluding VAT, this includes a certificate and Tea/Coffee.
Inhouse Training
We can visit your site, or you may use our training room if it is more suitable. Maximum 12 students per course.
