Voting matters – it can make a difference in our neighbourhoods and communities as well as our day-to-day lives. Swindon Borough Council spends nearly two hundred million pounds per year to make sure Swindon is a modern and exciting place to live. If you live in Swindon and you vote, you are using your power to influence life in Swindon. If you don’t vote, you’re giving up control to those who do. What’s New?

To help make it easier for citizens to find out information about registering to vote and elections and to exchange ideas with others, Swindon has launched a special Swindon election group on Facebook.
