If you believe you have suffered damage or loss to your vehicle as a result of Council negligence, please complete and return the claim form (please see below).
To assist in site identification, you must provide a sketched plan and photographs showing the exact location. If the incident occurred outside a dwelling please include the house number. If our Highways Inspectors are unable to identify the precise location of the alleged defect from the information given by you we will have to contact you again for further information and the claim investigation will be delayed.
Please return the Claim Form plus two estimates for the repair or replacement of any damaged items or a copy of the paid invoice if repairs have already taken place.
Although emergency repairs may have been carried out, there is no guarantee that compensation will be paid out. No compensation will be paid unless we have the receipts in our possession.
