Lydiard Park Race for Life
2nd May 2026
Embark on the Race for Life challenge! The 5k is an achievable distance and a good first challenge for most people. At just over 3 miles it can take about an hour to walk on average, but there’s no pressure to finish in a certain time. Go at your own pace to help fund life-saving cancer research.
Course Information:
The race kicks off on the grass, in line with the children’s play area outside Jungle Parc and Forest Cafe. The course is on a mixture of tarmaced paths and woodland trails. Due to the nature of the venue, the route does involve some hills, uneven ground, twists and turns and all adds to the challenge and fun. The 5k is a full 5k route.
The finish is on grass, a little further up from the start line near the large oak tree.
Join Forces or Go Solo:
You can take part in any Race for Life event as an individual or a group to raise money for life-saving research. Walk, jog or run together in a group or go solo at your own pace, or lead the way as a Group Leader and get family, friends and colleagues involved! However you choose to take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.
