Lydiard Park Hotel & Conference Centre offers versatile facilities, amidst spectacular forest and lake surroundings. Events include working breakfasts, conferences, training events, product launches, meetings, AGMs, gala dinners and award ceremonies or presentation evenings.

We run daytime and evening events – from working breakfasts through to evening gala dinners and receptions.

Our spaces range from a large and versatile function suite, to smaller private dining rooms. These can be set as boardroom or theatre style, and used in combination to provide breakout spaces – perfect for both occasional and regular meetings.

Rooms and spaces

We have a selection of rooms and spaces available to host your event.

Our Luxborough Suite on the ground floor can accommodate up to 100 people theatre style, 100 people banqueting, or 70 people cabaret.

Day delegates

If you are looking to escape the office just for the day, we offer day delegate rates.

Residential delegates

For those times when a day is just not enough, you can stay a little longer and hold your event over more than one day. Enjoy unwinding in the company of your colleagues in our licenced bar, and strengthening those working relationships by staying with us overnight. As well as the day delegate benefits above, our residential rates include overnight accommodation, breakfast and can include an evening meal, served either in the Luxborough or in one of our private dining rooms.

Accessibility

Lydiard House is a Grade 1 listed Palladian Mansion. The Luxborough Suite on the ground floor is accessible, although assistance is required to open doors.

Parking

Our day delegate and residential delegate rates include parking.

We can also arrange “parking buyouts” to make parking easy for half-day delegates and smaller groups, or there is pay and display parking for all visitors to Lydiard Park. Delegates should use the Hay Lane entrance to Lydiard Park and follow signs to Conference Centre parking. The car park is alongside St Mary’s Church and close to the Lydiard House Hotel.

The postcode for your SatNav is SN5 3PA, but delegates also need to add ‘Hay Lane’ to the address. Otherwise, the SatNav will guide you to the Hook Street entrance to Lydiard Park, which is on the opposite side of the grounds and a longer walk to the hotel.

When delegates have found an available parking space, they should make their way to the hotel reception to sign in and collect parking permits. The permit should then be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle for the duration of the stay at Lydiard Park.

Catering

Our Hotel Catering and Hospitality Team can prepare the ideal food and drink selection for any occasion. All of our menus are based around fresh produce and top quality ingredients, however big or small your party.

We offer a wide range of options from light finger buffets, delicious working lunches and platters, to cream teas, stylish canapes and sumptuous evening dinners.

No later than two weeks prior to your event, we will need your final numbers, and menu choices, as well as details of any dietary requirements e.g. vegan, gluten free, and specifics of any intolerances and allergies e.g. dairy, nuts. For formal dining events, seating plans are also required at the same time.

Please note that we are unable to accommodate external catering within Lydiard Park Hotel.
