This is a large BBQ pitch, suitable for up to 40 people.  Smaller pitches (for up to 15 people) are also available.

All sessions will start at 12noon until Park gates closing time (see boards on entrance to carparks).

All BBQs need to be booked and paid for in advance, with a minimum of 48hrs notice.

As the number of BBQs is limited, we recommend early booking, especially if you are looking for weekend dates from June to August.

Please note, only charcoal can be used in our BBQs. Portable BBQs (including gas BBQs) and fires are not allowed anywhere in the grounds of Lydiard Park.

Arrival

On the day, a warden will be available to unlock your BBQ. If there is not a warden in the BBQ area on your arrival, please go to the Wardens’ Office next to the Forest Café or contact the warden team on 07542 505381.
Please note that the warden team and this number are only available until 3:30 pm. If you have any difficulties on the day or are going to be delayed, please contact the wardens directly before this time.
Please retain your receipt and booking confirmation and bring them with you on the day of the BBQ booking; you will be asked for proof of payment.
